A Double-Edged Sword?

Do Tariffs Kill Your Enemy States Only Or Protect Domestic Markets?  

Let’s assume that Tesla produced 100 cars while the domestic demand was only 90 cars.  Musk will have to search for 10 buyers outside the US to sell the leftover (10 Tesla cars).

In this scenario, the profits from 10 Tesla cars will change if the foreign market imposed a retaliatory counter-tariff (an import tax) on 10 Tesla cars.  The tariff will force 10 foreign customers to give up the purchase because the prices of 10 Tesla cars will rise due to the import tax (tariff).   Thus Musk will lose his profits from 10 Tesla cars.  Trump should be blamed for Tesla’s loss of the sales opportunity in this case.

Although Tesla can protect Tesla’s domestic sales within the US if the US tariff is imposed on all imported cars in the US, the US consumers’ purchasing choices are limited to domestic cars because the prices of imported cars will rise.  If Tesla’s international market size is bigger than the one of its domestic market, Tesla should blame Trump for the US tariff that resulted in counter-tariffs outside the US.

If 100 buyers (90 domestic and 10 foreign buyers) do not exist because those buyers have lost their jobs (income) in the aftermath of a pandemic or a war, or because tariffs have impaired the purchasing powers of all buyers across the world, Tesla will have to donate 100 cars before they rust.

Unemployment rates are closely related to the survival of producers who blindly laid off their employees without realizing the consequence of a double-edged sword that kills producers as well as customers (the employees who were laid off).  The total market size is slashed when their employees are laid off.   For example, if 100,000 employees of Google were laid off, the sales opportunity from 100,000 potential customers was lost, which Musk did not calculate.   Therefore, a high unemployment rate signals an upcoming recession.

When MAGA ordered the lockdown policy and imposed tariffs on imported products, MAGA killed the domestic market as well as the international market without realizing the consequence of a double-edged sword. 

Can You Win When Your Business Partners Lose?

Two examples are Japan and China who had bought the US Treasury bonds until Trumpism ruined the relationships.  They had been the top 2 biggest customers (bondholders).  It is foolish for producers to wage war against their investors.  Instead of rescuing the son in Changeling (2008), the police blew a chance for the son to return to his home.  Likewise, the US blew a chance to keep the customers.

Can the US supply all products and services without business partners across the world? The answer is impossible.  One example of a business partner is a supplier who supplies components of cars.  Can Tesla produce all components that have been imported from China at the same expense?  The answer is impossible.  Can producers make money without customers?  The answer is impossible.  This article is related to Revolutionary Producer-Customer Relationship.  If customers can buy more, producers can produce more.  If customers become richer, producers become richer.  

If customers can continue to buy even after they are unemployed, their governments do not need to issue their national currencies (QE: national debt) and they do not need to deal with inflations after that.

No matter what the excuse had been, governments should not have issued currencies if production (GDP) had been halted thus unemployed people’s spending had been suspended.  Money is nothing more than an expression of GDP.  If GDP is zero, the currency should be zero.  In other words, why do you need money when you have nothing to buy or sell?  QE is a way to generate the debt (bankers’ income) that will be distributed to you by inflation later.

Why do you think the governments of the US and the UK ordered lockdown policies after they had granted the patent applications for COVID-19 that indebted the producers and the unemployed using the COVID-19 lockdown policy?  Who has received the benefits since national debts were issued by QE across the world?  Are they not the IMF and the World Bank whose shareholders are the FRB shareholders of the US?  What is the connection between the patentee, the founder of Israel and the biggest FRB shareholder?  Find the answers in my book.

How Can You Keep Unemployed Consumers Buying? 

How can you keep downsized producers producing after the producers removed the purchasing power from the unemployed who were and are their customers?

In RPCR (Revolutionary Producer-Customer Relationship) that I proposed in my book, producers and customers do not need loans.  Quantitative Easing (QE) such as stimulus checks is a method to increase a national debt.   QE does not guarantee purchasing while RPCR does.  QE is a national debt while RPCR is not.  QE causes inflations while RPCR does not.  QE motivates planned pandemics while RPCR does not.  QE benefits bankers while RPCR does not.

RPCR enables producers to continue to retain employees (the purchasing force) without losing profits.  In RPCR, Trump’s tariffs do not have impact on foreign or domestic markets.  How is that so?  Find out the answers in my book.

Elon Musk had no reason to bend his knees to Trump and he had no reason to donate monthly $45 million to Republican Party if he knew RPCR earlier.  Whoever becomes the president of the US, Musk will not need to surrender to any president who will be seeking continuous bribes.  This new economic system outsmarts corrupt politicians who have thrown global citizens into hunger game societies through the planned pandemic and the patented (planned) virus.
